When I got the idea for The Honeycomb Life, I didn’t know what the name would be, but I knew what I wanted to do with it.

 

I knew I wanted this blog to be more than just cute outfits, life hacks, and beauty products. It would be a place for inspiration, but also for encouragement and recharging. I wanted this blog to be a place that would always, without a doubt, provide gracious and encouraging words. 

 

One day during worship at our Sunday night service, I closed my eyes and prayed about what to name my blog. My launch date was coming soon and I didn’t have the most important element of my brand!

 

With my eyes closed, I began to see a honeycomb pattern with honey dripping from the little cubbies. And I saw myself sitting in one of those little cubbies, smiling and licking the honey off my fingers. And in cute, cursive lettering, the words “The Honeycomb Life” scrolled across my mind. 

 

To me, The Honeycomb Life is a life full of the sweetness that results from gratitude. I believe in an abundance mindset, knowing that God gives us what we need and even more than we deserve.

 

So whether I’m sharing my latest Target find, my favorite recipe, or even just a selfie in my OOTD, my goal in creating is to give my readers a taste of the sweetness of doing life with God. I hope you find encouragement in each and every post.
